Mission statement
Providing excellent, innovative education and research, UT Dallas (UTD) is committed to graduating well-rounded members of the global community; to continually improving educational and research programs in the humanities, arts, sciences, engineering and management; and to assisting the commercialization of intellectual capital generated by students, staff and faculty.
2023-2024 Goals
UTD aspires to be one of the nation’s best public research universities and one of the great universities of the world. Building upon a half-century of momentum, New Dimensions: The Campaign for UT Dallas is helping to attract the best and brightest, enhance lives through research and transform the arts.
Fundraising events
Support UT Dallas on North Texas Giving Day, and join together with alumni, faculty, staff and friends for Comets Giving Days — an annual 1,969-minute-long giving celebration to support students and efforts across the entire university.
Volunteer opportunities
Speak to a class or to a student group, volunteer at an alumni event, mentor students, serve as a Comets Giving Days ambassador, or share your stories and experiences. Learn more at alumni.utdallas.edu/volunteer.
Donation opportunities
Each gift toward the $750 million New Dimensions campaign will directly support the needs of exceptional students, facilitate the enterprising work of faculty, and realize the possibilities that exist when world-class researchers and visionary artists share a home.
A top-value public university, UT Dallas is home to more than 31,000 students across seven schools.
