Mission statement

UGM Dallas provides God’s hope to hungry, homeless, hurting and helpless people in Dallas. We partner with others to provide food, shelter, clothing, transportation, job readiness training, counseling, health care as well as temporary and affordable housing to those in need.

2023-2024 Goals

UGM Dallas, like other nonprofits, is doing more with less during the current economic situation. With a fundraising goal of $500,000 for 2023-2024, UGM Dallas will continue to purchase and install StepUP beds in our men’s center. These beds provide better accessibility, privacy and overall functionality. The sleeping areas at UGM Dallas Center of Hope will also be remodeled allowing us to house more women and children.

As the largest and oldest life transformation center in Dallas County, UGM Dallas serves the men, women, children, elderly and veterans in our community who find themselves homeless. We offer shelter through Calvert Men’s Transformation Center, Center of Hope Women and Children’s facility and transitional living complexes.

Fundraising events

North Texas Giving Day (Sept. 21, 2023) is the largest fundraising event for UGM Dallas. In addition to this event, we host the William M. Thompson Memorial Golf Classic and Project Vintage Runway Fashion Show.
