Welcome to the 2022 SportsDayHS Hero award campaign!

Here’s how it works: Each Sunday night, we unveil five nominees for the Hero award.

How to vote: You can visit this page to cast your online ballot once per hour (to prevent spamming). SHARE this post to get the vote totals up for your school’s player!

When does voting close? At 8 a.m. Thursday.

Here are this week’s candidates:

Enow Etta, Colleyville Covenant Christian DL — 13 tackles, 3 sacks, 3 TFL, 57-yard fumble recovery for a TD in 38-14 win over McKinney Christian

Xinjin Gomez, Lake Dallas DB — 11 tackles (9 solo), blocked field goal in a 54-48 win over Frisco Memorial.

Keldric Luster, McKinney QB — 477 total yards, 4 TD, 2 INT in a 60-51 win over Denton Braswell.

Parker Polk, Grapevine RB — 197 rush yards, 3 touchdowns in a 44-26 win over Colleyville Heritage.

Hunter Summers, Prosper WR — 8 receptions for 121 yards, 5 TD in a 59-6 win over Little Elm.
