One of the nation’s top point guards in the Class of 2025 is coming back to Denton Guyer for his senior year.
Three-star recruit Jordan Lowery announced that he will be transferring back to Guyer after spending this past season at Winston Salem Christian, a prep school in North Carolina. The 6-2 Lowery is rated the 32nd-best point guard in America in his class and holds offers from North Carolina State, Virginia Tech, California, Kansas State, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Seton Hall, SMU and TCU, among others.

“Just to have a floor general and a point guard with his talent level, his mind-set, his unselfishness and his awareness to always make the right basketball play is essential,” Guyer coach Grant Long said. “His growth as a leader is going to be a huge asset.”
Lowery played at Guyer his freshman and sophomore years. He joins a team that will return Class of 2026 guard Silas Rodriguez (offer from Rice and interest from TCU, Stanford, Butler and others) and Class of 2025 guard Mason White from a 25-10 team.
