Duncanville vs. St. Frances (Md.) is latest matchup between a D-FW power and nation’s best

For the seventh straight season, Duncanville will play an out-of-state opponent, hosting St. Frances Academy from Maryland at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Both teams are ranked in the top 25 in the nation by MaxPreps, with Duncanville (1-0) at No. 4 and St. Frances (2-1) at No. 22. The game will be loaded with major-college recruits.

Duncanville has the No. 1 wide receiver in the nation in the Class of 2025 with five-star Oregon pledge Dakorien Moore, and he is catching passes from five-star Alabama pledge Keelon Russell, the nation’s third-ranked quarterback in that same class. St. Frances’ top senior recruit is four-star Auburn pledge Blake Woodby, rated the 13th-best cornerback in the nation, and four-star safety Byron Baldwin is committed to Indiana.
