Reliable receivers: Who are the players with the best hands in Dallas?

There are 23 receivers with at least 40 catches in the Dallas area entering Week 9.

Quarterbacks across the Dallas area are lighting up the stat sheet, but their receivers are helping make the magic happen. Whether hauling in deep passes or grinding out first downs, reliable targets are the backbone of any high-powered offense.

Here are some of the top pass-catchers making an impact this season:

Jalen Lott, Frisco Panther Creek WR

Team offense rank: Sixth in total offense (402.4) and second in scoring (43.25) in 4A

2024 season: The four-star wide receiver with 36 college offers leads all Dallas-area players with 55 catches. He has 785 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. Lott has had four games with at least seven catches.

Team offense rank: Eighth in total offense (456.6) and fourth in scoring (48.8) in 6A

2024 season: The TCU commit has helped lead Southlake Carroll to an 8-0 record, while being third among 6A players in catches with 45. He is second in receiving yards with 904 and is third in touchdowns (12) among 6A players.

Dylan McCutcheon, Lovejoy WR

Team offense rank: Fifth in total offense (438.6) and second in scoring (51.6) in 5A

2024 season: The Texas commit is fourth in receptions (44), No. 12 in receiving yards (574) and tied for third in touchdowns with 10.

Trey Davis, Greenhill WR

Team offense rank: Fifth in total offense (399.6) and second in passing (308.0) among private schools

2024 season: The sophomore receiver is tied for second in catches with 50 among Dallas area players this season. He also has 749 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.

Damarion Mays, Life Oak Cliff WR

Team offense rank: Second in total offense (452.9) and first in passing (315.0) in 3A

2024 season: The freshmen wide receiver has four Division I offers. He is second in the Dallas area in catches (50) and first in receiving yards (988).

Mateu Parks, St. Mark’s WR

Team offense rank: Eighth in passing (221.0) and ninth in scoring (37.5) among private schools

2024 season: Parks has 47 catches for 943 yards and 13 touchdowns. He had four games with at least five receptions.

Dilon Tallie, Arlington Bowie WR

Team offense rank: Sixth in total offense (468.0) and ninth in scoring (42.9) in 6A

2024 season: The Bowling Green commit leads all 6A players in receptions with 47. He also has 804 yards and nine touchdowns.

Jeremiah Douglas, Crandall WR

Team offense rank: No. 15 in total offense (379.7) and No. 16 passing (205.6) in 5A

2024 season: Douglas, who has six Division I offers, leads all Dallas-area 5A players with 48 catches. He also is second in receiving yards (825) and tied for sixth in touchdowns with nine.
