Carrollton Newman Smith junior running back Jaden Coulter rushed for 182 yards and three touchdowns as Carrollton Newman Smith defeated Sunset 72-14 in a District 5-5A Division I matchup at Wilmer-Hutchins Stadium.

Demonte Greene led Carrollton Newman Smith (4-2, 2-2) in receiving with 129 yards and two touchdowns. He also return a kickoff 84-yards for a touchdown to tie the game 14-14 early in the first quarter.

Sunset (1-6, 0-5) quarterback Javier Castillo led the offense with 163 total yards and one rushing touchdown to go with 31 rushing yards.

Chris Hughes also added three rushing touchdowns for Carrollton Newman Smith.
