PROSPER-Senior quarterback Harrison Rosar and junior wide receiver Prentice Sanders combined for seven touchdowns as Prosper (7-1, 4-1 District 6-5A) scored 49 unanswered points in a 59-14 win against Denton Braswell on Friday night at Children's Health Stadium. Rosar was 20-of-33 passing for 285 yards and four touchdowns while Sanders rushed for 123 yards on 20 carries with two scores. Sanders also had three receptions for 22 yards and another score.

Taking advantage of Prosper's three first-half turnovers, Braswell (2-6, 0-5) converted two of those miscues into touchdowns and led 14-10 when senior quarterback Keegan Byrd hit senior receiver Dylan Smith for a 5-yard touchdown pass with 4:26 remaining in the first half.

However, Rosar hit his favorite target, senior receiver Hunter Summers, on a 32-yard scoring strike with 1:09 remaining in the opening half to give Prosper the lead for good at 17-14. Summers finished with six catches for 100 yards, his 6th 100-yard performance of the season, and two touchdowns for Prosper, which would score on six of its final seven possessions.

The Prosper defense stiffened in the third, holding Braswell to just five total yards, zero first downs with one interception and forcing Braswell to punt twice. Byrd finished with 102 yards passing and two touchdowns, both going to Smith, who caught four passes for 35 yards and two scores.

Prosper senior receiver Trevor Montayne capped the evening's scoring with an 80-yard scamper with 3:06 remaining. Montayne finished with 115 rushing yards on just five carries with a touchdown.
