KELLER - Landen Chambers ran for 141 yards on 23 carries and Adarius McGill added 105 yards rushing as Keller Fossil Ridge (1-0) ran past Flower Mound (0-1) at Keller ISD Athletic Complex.

Fossil Ridge outgained Flower Mound 453-265, but the visitors got within 23-14 midway through the third. Chambers and Cundiff's fourth-quarter scores put Fossil Ridge back up by three scores late to clinch the win.

Chambers ran 9 yards for a touchdown to finish a quick scoring drive for Fossil Ridge on the game's opening series. He added a 5-yard touchdown to finish a 14-play 72-yard scoring drive that put Fossil Ridge up 16-0 with 1:04 to play in the first quarter. Thirty seconds later, Addison Wells answered for Flower Mound with a 27-yard touchdown run to cut the deficit to 16-7.

Logan Cundiff connected on a 17-yard touchdown pass to Cooper Leonard with 1:15 left before halftime to give Fossil Ridge a 23-7 lead at the break. Flower Mound stayed within striking distance in the third on Yale Erdman's eight-yard touchdown pass to Walker Mulkey.
