WYLIE -- Wylie's Dane Farley had two sacks and an 18-yard fumble return for a touchdown to lead his team to a 24-7 victory over Richardson Pearce on Friday night.

Farley's score came on the first possession of the game, as Wylie's defense led the way. Wylie had eight sacks overall and held Pearce to 12 yards of offense and one first down in the first half.

Wylie doubled its advantage on the first drive of the second quarter when Jagger Bale connected with Chris Lewis for a 15-yard touchdown pass. Braden Gilbert made a 30-yard field goal as time expired in the first half, giving his team a three-score lead.

Richardson Pearce's offense found a rhythm in the second half, with Ryan Williams scoring from seven yards out in the third quarter. The team had 192 yards of offense in the second half, reaching the red zone on two occasions.
