IRVING -- Ryan Williams ran for 54 yards and three touchdowns as Richardson Pearce defeated Irving Nimitz 48-7 on Friday night.

His quarterback, Presley Harper, threw for 105 yards and a touchdown. He also had 66 yards on the ground and a rushing touchdown. Andrew Casagrande ran for 82 yards and a touchdown. Caden Varner caught three passes for 31 yards and a touchdown. Jack McGarry recorded 52 yards from scrimmage.

Defensively, Pearce (1-4, 1-2 District 7-6A) recorded an interception on the fourth play of the game when Isaac Martinez blew up a screen pass in the backfield.

For Nimitz (0-5, 0-3), Ashton Thompson led the way with 110 rushing yards on 18 carries.

Richardson Pearce will host MacArthur next Friday night. Irving Nimitz will go on the road to play Lake Highlands next Friday night.
