WYLIE — Jagger Bale scored four touchdowns as Wylie defeated Rowlett 30-10 Friday night at Wylie ISD Stadium.

Wylie (4-2, 3-1 in 9-6A) scored 30 unanswered points in the game, including on all four possessions in the second half. Bale threw his second touchdown of the game early in the fourth quarter, finding Sean Carter to cap off an 81-yard scoring drive.

After forcing a Rowlett (1-6, 1-4) punt, it was Bale who finished off a 12-play, 94-yard scoring drive with a short touchdown run. Wylie finished with 250 yards rushing in the game.

Rowlett had the early advantage in the game with the return of quarterback Harris Boyd. He led the team on two scoring drives in the first half, including a 20-yard pass to Corey Kirkling midway through the second quarter. Kirkling finished the game with 83 yards, while his teammate James Okolo led all pass-catchers with 88 yards.

Wylie will face crosstown rival Wylie East next Friday in their next game, while Rowlett will face North Garland.
