FRISCO - A strong defensive performance helped Frisco Centennial defeat Frisco Lebanon Trail 14-10 Thursday night at Toyota Stadium.

The Frisco Centennial defense had three interceptions, including a game-sealing pick from Jonathon Williston in the game's final minutes. Both teams kept it close early on, as Frisco Centennial took a 7-0 lead in the second quarter when Jace Patton found Trey Herbert for a 24-yard passing touchdown.

Patton completed all 10 of his passing attempts for 177 yards and two touchdowns to complement Frisco Centennial's (3-5, 4-6 6-5A D-I) defensive efficiency. Trey Herbert caught two passes for 34 yards and a touchdown while Tyler Hughes had 68 yards on three catches with a touchdown to lead Frisco Centennial.

A fumbled punt recovery set up a one-yard rushing touchdown from Matthew Robinson to help Frisco Centennial seal the win. Both teams saw their seasons end, as they were eliminated from playoff contention.
