FRISCO -- With the game tied at 6-6 midway through the third quarter, Frisco Heritage freshman quarterback Cameron Lomax led his squad on three touchdown drives to put away a pesky Frisco Lebanon Trail squad for a 27-6 District 6-5A Div. I victory at The Ford Center.

Lomax carried nine times for 66 yards and scored on a pair of 3-yard runs, including the go-ahead score with 5:12 left in the third quarter.

Nick Clark paced Heritage (5-1, 4-0) with 83 yards on 11 carries, including a 4-yard touchdown run to five Heritage a two-score cushion heading into the final quarter. Heritage took a 6-0 lead thanks to a 27-yard scoring strike from Devan Calvin to Houston Brookshire with 6:58 to play in the first quarter. Calvin was 5 of 7 passing for 92 yards.

After struggling to move the ball in the first quarter, Lebanon Trail (0-5, 0-3) turned to its running game and cut the lead to 6-3 with 2:06 left before halftime on a 26-yard field goal by Trevor Sutherland. The kick capped a 19-play, 57-yard drive. Trenton Ford carried eight times on the drive for 38 yards. Ford finished the game with 11 carries for 48 yards.

Sutherland tied the game at 6-6 with 6:22 to play in the third quarter on the strength of 33-yard field goal.
