FRISCO - Frisco Lone Star senior quarterback Bennett Fryman accounted for 221 yards and five touchdowns as Lone Star (5-2, 3-2 District 6-5A Division I) cruised to a 55-14 victory against Frisco Lebanon Trail on Thursday at David Kuykendall Stadium.

Fryman was 9-for-19 passing for 122 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 99 yards on nine carries with three more scores for Lone Star, which finished with 383 total yards, 261 on the ground and 21 first downs.

Both teams scored on their opening drives of the game, and the game was 7-7 with 3:51 remaining in the first quarter after Lebanon Trail senior running back Trenton Ford scored on a four-yard run. However, Lone Star scored 20 unanswered points to lead 27-7 at the half.

Lone Star's string reached 48 unanswered points until senior quarterback Matthew Robison hit senior wide receiver Andrew Smith from 12 yards out for Lebanon Trail (0-7, 0-5) with 2:13 remaining in the game, the final points of the evening.

Six different players scored touchdowns for Lone Star, which also forced Lebanon Trail to punt six times and forced two turnovers, including a 40-yard interception return for a touchdown in the second half by senior defensive back Luke Hudson.
