ARLINGTON- Arlington Bowie (4-2, 2-0 District 8-6A) won its fourth straight game Friday night with a 28-17 victory over district rival Grand Prairie (0-6, 0-2) at Wilemon Field.

Darion Bowers led the way with 171 yards on the ground and three touchdowns.

After a close first half, Arlington Bowie took the second half kickoff and went on a 13-play drive that consumed over eight minutes. DeAngelo Ponder hit Jalen Sanders in the end zone for a 17-yard touchdown that would give Bowie a 21-10 advantage.

Grand Prairie’s Joshua Rico keep the game close with a 32-yard TD pass to Kelton Moore, but Bowers' 1-yard run in the fourth again made it a two-score lead. Rico finished with 214 yards on 13 of 22 passing.
