NORTH RICHLAND HILLS — Bryce Morton passed for 431 yards and five touchdowns, leading Richland to a 49-31 victory over Mansfield Legacy.
After being down 14-0 in the second quarter, Morton found Dominique Johnson wide-open in the middle of the field for a 72-yard touchdown. The pair connected twice more in the second half for touchdowns. Richland outscored Legacy 43-10 in the second and third quarters.
Johnson led Richland with 256 yards receiving, while Grant Peretz caught six passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns.
Reggie Moody Jr. led Mansfield Legacy with 318 yards passing. Paul Summers II had nine catches for 164 yards and a score.
