KELLER — Chukwudozie Ezukanma caught eight passes for 146 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Keller Timber Creek (4-6, 3-4 District 4-6A) clinched a playoff berth with a 47-6 win over Keller Central (1-9, 1-6) on Friday.

Max Miranda’s 38-yard field goal cut Keller Central’s deficit to 14-6 midway through the second quarter. Maddox Allbritton answered for Timber Creek by returning the kickoff 80 yards to the Keller Central 19-yard line. On the next play, Ezukanma took a jet sweep toss from Lior-jire Mendji and ran it in for a 19-yard touchdown.

Allbritton took a lateral and threw a six-yard touchdown pass to Jahrid Hughes on the final play before halftime. Timber Creek led 27-6 at the break.

Emmanuel James scored on a one-yard touchdown run to finish off a 10-play scoring drive in the third quarter. Ezukanma opened the fourth by scoring on a 53-yard touchdown from Mendji. Anderson Lewis finished the scoring with a 60-yard touchdown run.

Timber Creek will travel to North Crowley for a bi-district matchup next Friday at 7 p.m.
