JUSTIN — Aaron Darden had 225 total yards and four touchdowns to lead Trophy Club Byron Nelson to a 56-24 win over Keller Central on Friday night.

Darden scored twice in the first half, catching a 64-yard touchdown pass from Jake Wilson to open the scoring for Byron Nelson (8-0, 5-0 District 4-6A) in the first quarter. Byron Nelson's offense found a rhythm and scored 21 unanswered points in the second quarter to take a 35-3 lead into halftime.

The second half featured a more even look between both teams, but Keller Central couldn't work its way out of the early deficit. Darden led Byron Nelson with 146 yards rushing, finding the end zone twice on the ground in the second half to help his team secure the win. Wilson completed 14 of 20 pass attempts for 326 yards and four scores, while Landon Ransom-Goelz caught four passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns. Tucker James ran for 110 yards and a touchdown.

Kelden Ryan completed 19 passes for 192 yards and a touchdown to lead the Keller Central (1-7, 1-4) offense. Ryan also ran for 123 yards and two touchdowns, while Braden Manners caught ten passes for 139 yards and a touchdown.
