JUSTIN - Aaron Darden rushed for 205 yards and four touchdowns as Byron Nelson defeated Eaton 48-14 Thursday night at Northwest ISD Stadium. With the win Byron Nelson (9-1, 6-1 District 4-6A) clinches a second place finish in District 4-6A.

Three of Darden's rushing touchdowns came in the first half as Byron Nelson jumped out to a 41-7 halftime lead. Darden's first rushing touchdown came courtesy of a 74-yard score in the first quarter.

Byron Nelson's offense finished the night with 595 yards of total offense, where quarterback Jake Wilson threw for 256 yards and one passing touchdown, including a rushing touchdown.

Byron Nelson's defense forced three turnovers against Eaton, all on fumbles.

Eaton (4-6, 3-4 District 4-6A) was unable to match Byron Nelson's offensive efforts as they totaled 295 yards of offense. Quarterback Noah Lugo led Eaton with 122 passing yards and a touchdown with 87 rushing yards. Running back Christopher Duharte contributed 114 total yards of offense and one rushing touchdown.
