CARROLLTON -- Frisco Memorial running back Brandon Tullis racked up yards at will, rushing for 162 yards and a score en route to a 39-0 win over Carrollton Creekview at Tommy Standridge Stadium on Thursday night.

Frisco Memorial (2-8, 1-5 District 3-5A Div. II) let Tullis set the tone, rushing 11 times for 134 yards and a score in the first half, as Memorial posted a 14-0 halftime lead.

Jake Gierkey helped set up his tandem backs of Tullis and True Booker by passing enough to keep drives alive. Two completions in the first half were to Ferron Cotton of 49 and 50 yards. Booker finished with a load of carries in the second half, ending with 14 carries and 115 yards, and two scores.

Red zone interceptions by both teams kept the score tight through most of the first half.

But when Booker tore off a 31-yard run for a score in the first drive of the 3rd quarter, the 21-0 lead gave a sense of Memorial’s control of the game.

Creekview (0-9, 0-4 District 3-5A Div. II) could never get on track with the exception of the red zone penetration in the first half.

Jaiden Paige was 10 of 16 passing for 67 yards for Creekview. His favorite target was Sourjodipto Das with nine receptions.
