MURPHY -- Hebron (3-2, 1-1 District 6-6A) quarterback Braxton Baker threw for 316 yards and five touchdowns, as the Hawks defeated Plano East, 35-23, Friday night at Kimbrough Stadium.

Hebron wide reciever Micah Greene paved the way for the Hawks with 218 receieving yards and three touchdowns, and Case Holleron hauled in two touchdowns as well, including a 15-yard touchdown catch midway through the fourth quarter to give Hebron the two-score lead for good.

The Hebron defense recorded three takeaways, led by sophomore PJ Crayton's two interceptions, which helped erase an early Plano East 10-point lead.

Plano East (3-2, 0-2 District 6-6A) quarterback Drew Devillier threw for 391 yards and two touchdowns in the loss, and wide reciever Rushil Patel had nine catches for 213 yards and a score. Running back Austin Wesley also ran the ball 21 times for 97 yards, as he filled in for the injured Daniel Fayombo.
