GARLAND -- Keyuntae King scored three of his four touchdowns in the third quarter of Garland's 35-21 win over Garland Lakeview Centennial.
King led his team in rushing with 124 yards on 22 carries.
Garland (3-1, 2-0 District 9-6A) trailed by a touchdown going into the second half, but a 48-yard kickoff return by Timaius James set up the tying score by King. The team scored three more straight touchdowns, including a 13-yard reception by Nathan Michell.
Garland benefitted from great field position throughout the game, with miscues pinning Lakeview Centennial (2-2, 1-1) back for much of the night.
Lakeview Centennial's Jonathan Hester scored on a 99-yard run late in the first quarter to open scoring. Hester also connected with Jonathan Whittle for two touchdowns, including a 20-yard catch to close out the fourth quarter.
Hester led his team in rushing with 130 yards and completed 10-of-20 passes for 108 yards.
