GARLAND – Savion Hunter returned a kick 87-yards for a score and added a 51-yard touchdown run to lead Garland Lakeview Centennial to a 62-0 victory over South Garland at Homer B. Johnson Stadium.

Lakeview Centennial scored on their first six possessions, averaging more than nine yards per carry while scoring six rushing touchdowns. Quarterback Jonathan Hester connected with Julius Spencer on three passes during the opening drive before Hester converted a 6-yard run for a 7-0 lead. Lakeview (3-2, 2-1 District 9-6A) never looked back as Jack Dustin added a pair of two-yard scores.

Spencer finished with nine receptions, 138 yards and a touchdown.

Lakeview Centennial’s defense force two first half turnovers including an interception by AJ Harris. South Garland (1-4, 0-3) was held to 124 total yards while suffering their third consecutive shutout.
