FRISCO -- Caleb Orr threw for 307 yards and four touchdowns to lead Sherman to a 48-13 victory over Frisco Liberty in the season finale Friday night at Ford Center.
Sherman (4-6, 3-5 District 6-5A Division 1) jumped out to an early lead, scoring on a 24-yard run by Kane Bowen on its opening possession of the game, and never let off the pedal, taking a 35-0 lead into the half. Phoenix Grant hauled in three touchdown receptions on 163 yards and eight receptions, while Bowen finished with 140 rushing yards.
Frisco Liberty (0-10, 0-8) was held in check by the Sherman defense, gaining only 169 yards of total offense while forcing four turnovers. Will Jackson scored on a 2-yard run in the third quarter to get Frisco Liberty on the board.
Gerkavian Hughes and JD Parker also scored touchdowns for Sherman.
