FORT WORTH - The duo of Trent Honeycutt and Antonio Anderson combined for 339 yards rushing and four touchdowns to lead Fort Worth Trimble Tech (2-1) to a 42-6 victory of Samuell at Farrington Field.
Honeycutt had 231 yards rushing on 12 carries and two scores, including a 79-yard touchdown run at the end of the third quarter, while Honeycutt finished the game with 108 yards rushing with two touchdowns with one of those coming on a 69-yard score in the first quarter. In addition, Terry Starks had a 71-yard touchdown run and Leonardo Lucero returned a fumble recovery 40 yards for a score.
Leading the way for Samuell (1-2) was Xzavion Beard with 153 total yards of offense and Tristian Barnett, who scored on a 1-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
