Quarterback Carter Kopecky accounted for 194 yards and two touchdowns — all in the first half — and led South Oak Cliff to dominant 49-0 victory over Adamson in the District 6-5A Division II opener for both.

The first half saw SOC score touchdowns on all six of its drives, while racking up 327 total yards.

SOC (2-3, 1-0) opened the game with a six-play drive and went ahead 7-0 when Kopecky scored on a 25-yard run. The next series took SOC just two plays to score as Kopecky passed 46 yards to Adem Madise. Tedrick Williams scored from a yard out with 2:15 remaining in the first quarter—making it 21-0.

The dominance continued in the second quarter. SOC led 42-0 at halftime and a running clock was utilized in the second half.

Adamson (1-4, 0-1) was held to 83 total yards and four first downs.
