ARLINGTON- Arlington Lamar quarterback Gannon Carey scored on a 45-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to put Keller Central away 27-9 at Cravens Field Friday night.

Carey led Arlington Lamar's offense with 123 passing yards, 38 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. Running back Robert Brown contributed 114 total yards with two touchdown runs. Brown's two touchdowns came courtesy of a 25-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, and a 34-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to put his team up 21-9 with 11:41 left.

Tied 7-7 with less than 1:00 remaining in the first half, Arlington Lamar's (1-2) defense forced a fumble and scored on a 45-yard fumble recovery touchdown by linebacker Jayden Pederson.

Keller Central 's (0-3) two scores on the night came on a 7-yard rushing touchdown by running back Cornelius Wilson and a safety.

Quarterback Kelden Ryan led the Keller Central offense with 107 passing yards. Chase Garnett Keller Central's rushing attack with 61 yards.
