HASLET – Running back Landen Chambers ran for 131 yards and three touchdowns as Keller Fossil Ridge (3-2, 1-1 District 4-6A) defeated Northwest Eaton (1-4, 0-2 District 4-6A) 46-28 on Friday night at the Northwest ISD Stadium.

Keller Fossil Ridge secured their first win in District 4-6A with defensive back Reece Watkins’ interception that led to Chambers’ third touchdown of the night late in the fourth quarter to extend Fossil Ridge’s lead to 18.

Quarterback Logan Cundiff assisted in the running game as well with 82 yards on eight carries and a touchdown. He also threw for 165 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Cooper Leonard caught both of those touchdown passes, capping off his four receptions for 93 yards.

Northwest Eaton’s quarterback Noah Lugo was the heartbeat of their offense as he scored three of their touchdowns, two rushing and one passing. He combined for a total of 296 yards offensively.
