Deonte Dean ran for 92 yards and four touchdowns to lead Lake Highlands past Irving Nimitz 57-14 in District 7-6A play Friday night at Wildcat-Ram Stadium.

Dean scored three of his touchdowns in the first half, all in the red zone, as Lake Highlands (4-2, 2-2) cruised to a 43-0 halftime lead, punctuated by a 63-yard Wesley Scott pick-six as time expired in the second quarter. Cayden Byrd added 55 yards rushing and a score, and Shamar Donaldson had a 21-yard touchdown reception.

Ashton Thompson was the primary ball carrier for Irving Nimitz (0-6, 0-4) with 89 yards rushing on 18 carries and a touchdown. Tight end Jorge Huerta caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from Pedro Maldonado in the closing seconds of the game.
