CARROLLTON – Pinkston scored on defense and special teams and forced four turnovers in a 32-0 win over Carrollton Ranchview in District 7-4AI play on Friday night.

J’Marcus Sloan returned an interception 39 yards with 4:29 left in the second quarter, sandwiched between touchdown runs from Kenyon Valentine (63 yards) and Eric Zachery (34 yards) to give Pinkston (5-3, 1-3) a 19-0 lead at halftime. Valentine also recovered a blocked punt in the end zone for the game’s final score.

Ranchview's Robert Owens ran for 46 yards on 19 carries, but Ranchview (2-7, 1-3) finished with just 18 total yards rushing.
