Sophomore quarterback Keelon Russell passed for 228 yards and four touchdowns — all in the first half -- as Duncanville rolled to an easy 63-0 victory over Skyline in a District 11-6A game at Forester Field. Duncanville racked up 407 total yards and 21 first downs.
Skyline (0-8, 0-5) was held without a first down until midway through the fourth quarter. The game featured a running clock for much of the second half.
Duncanville (7-0, 5-0) opened the game with a seven-play drive and went ahead 7-0 when Russell passed 39 yards to Davion Bluitt. Bluitt returned a Skyline punt 55 yards for the touchdown on the ensuing series. The next offensive series for Duncanville consisted of an eight-play drive and ended with Russell passing seven yards to Zach Turner to make it 21-0 with 2:23 remaining in the first quarter.
