Kimball — Demarcus Tutson ran for 36 yards and a touchdown leading Kimball past Arlington Sam Houston, 16-9, Friday night at Sprague Field.

In the first quarter both teams pitched a shut out . Sam Houston (0-4) got on the board first with 4:47 left in the second quarter with a 14-yard touchdown pass from senior Andre Saulsbury to senior Orlando‘s Scott.

The very next possession Kimball (1-4) junior Jordan Martin ran the kickoff back 90 yards to tie the game. Before halftime senior running back Demarcus Tutson scored from eight yards out, giving Kimball a 13-9 lead.

In the third quarter Kimball came out with a 36-yard field goal by Breonne Patterson-Washington for the final points in the game.
