With their varsity eligibility still in question, the 13 transfers have options to play elsewhere.
The UIL’s state executive committee will determine the punishments after the school added 13 players as transfers in the offseason.
UIL can also now impose penalties on DECs that don’t act in a manner consistent with the rules.
The District 13-5A committee will rule on alleged recruiting violations by Faith Family and its coaches.
A separate DEC meeting will be held soon to rule on alleged recruiting violations by charter school Oak Cliff Faith Family and its coaches.
Amari Byles has left DeSoto and Joy Egbuna has left Mansfield Lake Ridge. Both are top-100 national recruits.
