First-team forwards
Riley Baker, Flower Mound senior: The Kansas State signee was first-team all-state and the District 6-6A offensive player of the year. She scored both goals in the Class 6A state championship game as Flower Mound beat Austin Vandegrift 2-1 to win its second state title. Baker scored a team-high 27 goals for a 24-1-2 team, and added nine assists.
Ava Colberg, Frisco Memorial senior: The three-star Baylor signee scored 20 goals and led her team in assists as Frisco Memorial reached the 5A Region II semifinals, where it lost in a shootout to nationally ranked Highland Park. The second-team all-state honoree scored four goals and also converted two penalty kicks in shootouts during the playoffs. Her 16 goals in the regular season were nearly half of Memorial’s team total of 33, and she helped her school share the District 9-5A title with Frisco Wakeland, which went on to finish as the state runner-up.
Kaitlyn Giametta, Prosper senior: The four-star Texas Tech signee had 38 goals and 16 assists for a 24-1 Prosper team that finished No. 2 in the Top Drawer Soccer winter national rankings. Giametta was named second-team all-state and the District 5-6A co-offensive player of the year after helping Prosper average 5.4 goals per game. She took part in a virtual camp for the under-19 national team.
McKenna Jenkins, Frisco Wakeland junior: The UNLV pledge had 18 goals and 10 assists to lead Wakeland to a state runner-up finish in Class 5A. The first-team all-state honoree was at her best late in the playoffs, scoring eight goals in the final four games. She scored two goals (including the game-winner in the second overtime period) to beat previously undefeated Highland Park 2-1 in the regional final, added two goals and an assist in a 3-2 comeback win over Grapevine in the state semifinal, then scored Wakeland’s only goal in a 2-1 loss to Dripping Springs in the state final.
First-team midfielders
Sydney Becerra, Flower Mound junior: The four-star Texas A&M pledge was named the District 6-6A MVP and first-team all-state. She overcame an early season injury to produce 15 goals and 20 assists for Class 6A state champion Flower Mound. She assisted on both goals in a 2-1 victory over Austin Vandegrift in the state final, and she had five goals and 10 assists in the playoffs. One of her biggest goals of the season came on a free kick with 10:29 left in regulation against then-undefeated Prosper, a score that forced overtime in a regional quarterfinal that Flower Mound went on to win 3-1.
Quinn Cornog, Highland Park senior: The four-star Vanderbilt signee had 32 goals and 19 assists for a 21-1 team that reached the Class 5A Region II final and finished No. 19 in the Top Drawer Soccer winter national rankings. Combining her goal and assist totals, she had a hand in 41% of Highland Park’s 123 goals. She was a first-team all-state pick and was the District 13-5A MVP. She was selected for the U.S. Soccer youth national team regional ID camp.
Camryn Lancaster, Mansfield Lake Ridge senior: The four-star TCU signee was named the District 11-6A MVP and a first-team all-region selection. She scored 18 goals to help Lake Ridge reach the Class 6A Region II final. She was among 28 players invited to the U.S. Soccer youth national team regional ID camp.
First-team defenders
Rachel Allen, Midlothian Heritage senior: The Dallas Baptist signee split her time between defender and forward and had 21 goals and 18 assists for a 27-1 Midlothian Heritage team that won the Class 4A state championship. She had a goal and an assist in a 6-0 rout of Corpus Christi Calallen in the state title game. She is a three-time district MVP, and she was a first-team all-state honoree in 2021. Celina four-star recruit Taylor Zdrojewski entered the state semifinals having scored a state-record 114 goals this season, but Allen volunteered to play defense and mark her one-on-one. She held Zdrojewski without a goal for the only time all season as Midlothian Heritage won 1-0.
Keller Matise, Highland Park senior: The three-star Arkansas signee led a defense that posted 15 shutouts and allowed only eight goals in 22 games. The first-team all-region selection had four goals and 10 assists as a defender for Class 5A Region II finalist Highland Park. She was selected for the U.S. Soccer youth national team regional ID camp.
Molly McDougal, Prosper junior: The three-star Florida pledge had nine assists from her center back position and was a first-team all-state pick and the District 5-6A defensive player of the year. She helped a 24-1 team allow only 10 goals. She took part in a virtual camp for the under-18 national team.
First-team goalkeeper
Olivia Ramey, Frisco Memorial junior: The four-star Oklahoma pledge had 14 shutouts and allowed only five goals in 18 district games. She was a first-team all-state selection and the District 9-5A goalkeeper of the year. She led Frisco Memorial to the fourth round of the playoffs in the school’s third year of existence, and the team finished 16-3-3.
First-team utility players
Theresa McCullough, Grapevine sophomore: The first-team all-state honoree was the District 6-5A co-MVP. She had 24 goals and 29 assists to lead Grapevine to a 24-2-3 record and appearance in the Class 5A state semifinals. She assisted on both Grapevine goals in a 3-2 loss to Frisco Wakeland in the state semifinals.
Juliet Moore, Ursuline senior: The Mississippi State signee had a team-high 19 assists and ranked second on the team with 12 goals while helping lead Ursuline to the TAPPS Division I state championship. She was a second-team all-state selection for a team that lost only once, 2-1 to UIL Class 6A state champion Flower Mound. Ursuline finished 22-1 and had wins over UIL schools Flower Mound Marcus (a 6A regional finalist), Forney (a 5A regional semifinalist), Plano West and Red Oak.
Hadley Murrell, Prosper junior: The three-star Oklahoma pledge had 37 goals and 20 assists and was named the District 5-6A MVP and honorable mention all-state. In the regular season, she was tied for seventh in the Dallas area in goals and was tied for 11th in assists. She took part in a virtual camp for the under-19 national team.
Drew Stover, Frisco Wakeland junior: The three-star Wisconsin pledge posted 19 shutouts and allowed only seven goals for a 20-3-3 Wakeland team that was the Class 5A state runner-up and finished No. 18 in the Top Drawer Soccer winter national rankings. Wakeland allowed only one goal in the first five rounds of the playoffs, and that was in a 2-1 overtime win in the regional final against nationally ranked Highland Park — a team that averaged 5.6 goals per game. “She did not get much respect because she made everything look very easy. She is very skilled and just does not make many mistakes,” coach Jimmie Lankford said.
Ashlyn Vana, Celina senior: The District 11-4A midfielder of the year broke the state record for most assists in a season, finishing with 51. That is tied for the third-highest total in national history, according to the National Federation of State High School Associations record book. The Ouachita Baptist signee also scored 18 goals to help Class 4A Celina reach the state semifinals for the first time in program history.

Second-team forwards
Laci Earixson, Fort Worth Nolan senior: She was second-team all-state and scored 38 goals for 22-4-2 TAPPS Division I state quarterfinalist Nolan.
Tyler Isgrig, Arlington Martin junior: The four-star TCU pledge had 29 goals and 17 assists for District 8-6A champion Martin.
Ashleigh Williams, Allen senior: The Texas Tech signee scored 26 goals for the nation’s 35th-ranked team and was a second-team all-region pick and the District 5-6A co-offensive player of the year.
Second-team midfielders
Jayme Bailey, Wylie East senior: The Stephen F. Austin signee had 32 goals and 13 assists for a team that was ranked No. 11 in the state at the end of the regular season. She was honorable mention all-state.
Emily Jane “EmJ” Cox, Highland Park senior: The four-star Texas signee had 22 goals and 11 assists for Class 5A Region II finalist Highland Park. She was second-team all-state.
Ally Perry, Frisco Wakeland senior: The four-star Mississippi State signee scored 16 goals, including 11 game-winning goals, for 5A state runner-up Wakeland. She was first-team all-region and the District 9-5A midfielder of the year for 5A.
Brynn Pollock, Midlothian Heritage junior: The first-team all-state pick had 18 goals and 23 assists for Class 4A state champion Heritage. She was the District 8-4A midfielder of the year.
Second-team defenders
Chloe Adams, Flower Mound Marcus sophomore: The second-team all-state honoree helped the nation’s 24th-ranked team post 14 shutouts. Class 6A Region I finalist Marcus beat nationally ranked Hebron (three times, and all shutouts) and Coppell and tied 6A state champion Flower Mound and nationally ranked Trophy Club Byron Nelson.
Hayden Colson, Denton Guyer junior: The four-star recruit was second-team all-region and the District 5-6A defensive newcomer of the year. She was recently invited to the U.S. under-18 national team camp.
Eleanor Hays, Hebron sophomore: The three-star recruit was the District 6-6A defensive player of the year in a district that included three other nationally ranked teams (besides Hebron) — Flower Mound, Flower Mound Marcus and Coppell. She helped shut out Flower Mound when Hebron handed the 6A state champion its only loss. Hebron finished No. 34 in the winter national rankings.
Second-team goalkeeper
Peyton Whipple, Flower Mound senior: The Arkansas signee had 15 shutouts for Class 6A state champion Flower Mound and was second-team all-state.
Second-team utility players
Rachel Buckle, Frisco Reedy junior: The three-star Elon pledge was the MVP of District 9-5A — a district that included state runner-up Frisco Wakeland and regional semifinalist Frisco Memorial. Buckle scored 12 goals as a midfielder for regional quarterfinalist Reedy and was a first-team all-region pick.
Chloe Chadwick, Forney junior: She had 37 goals and 13 assists for 5A Region II semifinalist Forney, which made the longest playoff run in program history.
Ava Crimmings, Trophy Club Byron Nelson: The Oral Roberts signee was the MVP of District 4-6A — a district whose four postseason qualifiers combined to win 10 playoff games. Crimmings had 11 goals and 10 assists for the nation’s 22nd-ranked team.
Kyleigh Rhodes, Grapevine senior: She had 19 goals and 12 assists for 5A state semifinalist Grapevine and was named the District 6-5A co-offensive MVP and first-team all-region. Grapevine was No. 23 in the final winter national rankings.
Alicia Riggins, Mansfield Lake Ridge freshman: The three-star recruit scored a team-high 22 goals — including 16 in district play — and had eight assists for Class 6A Region II finalist Lake Ridge. She was a second-team all-region selection.
