Softball rankings (4/19): Mansfield Lake Ridge, Denton Guyer prevail in top 10 matchups

Plus, Frisco Lone Star and Grapevine falter.

The only two teams that suffered losses in the Class 6A rankings this week were against the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the area.

Mansfield Lake Ridge brought an end to Waxahachie’s six-game win streak Tuesday night in a 9-1 win to extend its win streak to 31 games.

Denton Guyer also preserved its perfect start to the season, winning its second battle with Allen by a margin of 9-0.
