Two teenagers died and three people were injured in a car crash early Sunday in Fort Worth, police say.
Officers were called about 2:30 a.m. to the intersection of Glen Eden and South Riverside drives, near Mansfield Highway, where they found two people dead inside a vehicle, police spokesman Bradley Perez said in an email.
Three other people who were in the car were hospitalized for their injuries, police said. Information about the medical condition of the injured was not released Sunday.
Fort Worth police Capt. R.L. Krouse said two cars collided at the intersection when one of the drivers did not stop at a stop sign. The occupants of the second vehicle were treated at the scene, he said.
The Tarrant County medical examiner's office identified the two people who died in the crash as Yosmeri Mendez and Dianaluisa Lopez, both 18.
