Original post: Mesquite police are asking for the public's help locating a missing 12-year-old girl.
Zamaria Lovelace was last seen about 2:30 a.m. Sunday, leaving an apartment complex in the 2600 Franklin Drive, near Town East Mall, in a vehicle with a man.
Zamaria is described as black, 5-3 and about 100 pounds, with thick red braids in her hair. She was last seen wearing a black tank top and blue jeans.
The vehicle she was seen in may have been a silver Chevrolet Cruze, police said.
Anyone with information about Zamaria's whereabouts is asked to call police at 972-285-6336.
