Richardson Public Library recognized as one of the best in the state

The library was one of 56 of the state’s 568 public libraries to receive the 2020 Achievement of Library Excellence Award.

The Richardson Public Library has been recognized as one of the top libraries in the state by its peers.

The library received the 2020 Achievement of Library Excellence Award from the Texas Municipal Library Directors Association (TMLDA).

Of the 568 public libraries in Texas, just 56 received the award for 2020, according to an announcement.
