Amid Carroll ISD controversy, Southlake group plans virtual diversity and inclusion talk

A local chapter of Dignity For All Texas Students will host the panel discussion Sunday.

As Southlake reacts to the arrests of two Carroll ISD trustees at the center of a fight over diversity and inclusion in schools, some community leaders are planning a virtual panel to discuss the issues.

The local chapter of Dignity For All Texas Students is hosting “Moving Beyond the CCAP: Unifying Southlake Through Diversity” on Sunday at 2 p.m.

The event will feature Southlake residents and experts who will answer questions and share information about their experiences with diversity and inclusion in K-12 schools, university settings and the business community.
