First-time homebuyers in DeSoto may qualify for financial help through a city program, officials said in a news release.
The DeSoto Down Payment Assistance Program helps current DeSoto residents who meet income guidelines buy their first home.
The program provides up to $10,000 in assistance for first-time homebuyers who qualify based on federal income limits, the city said. The money can go toward down payments and closing costs.
City officials will host a webinar Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. to provide more information.
The virtual meeting will be broadcast live on the city’s website, Facebook page and on cable channels 16 for Spectrum subscribers and 99 for Uverse customers. People can also access the meeting using Zoom.
