Frisco ISD COVID-19 testing site has reopened after closing due to high demand

The district’s free COVID-19 testing for students and staff members has resumed at Bacchus Park.

Frisco ISD has resumed COVID-19 testing at Bacchus Park, 13995 Main Street, after announcing last week that its testing partner, Nomi Health, had closed its COVID-19 testing site at Kuykendall Stadium and would move to a location with greater capacity due to high demand.

On its first day of operation at Kuykendall Stadium last week, the testing site received “overwhelming interest,” according to the district, and prompted Nomi Health to close the location by the third day of operation.

“In order to better serve FISD students and staff, the current COVID-19 testing site will close effective today, Jan. 13,” the district wrote on Twitter.
