These small North Texas cities are among the most livable in the nation

Flower Mound is the most livable small city in Texas, ranking No. 4 in the recent SmartAsset study,

Three North Texas cities stand out among the “most livable small cities in the nation,” according to a new study from financial technology company SmartAsset.

Coming in at No. 4, Flower Mound is Texas’ most livable small city, with Mansfield and North Richland Hills coming in at Nos. 35 and 78, respectively.

SmartAsset researchers analyzed 286 U.S. cities with a population between 65,000 and 100,000.

The study used 11 key metrics, including the concentration of restaurants, bars and healthcare establishments, home affordability, the poverty and unemployment rates and the average commute time.
