Frisco Police to hold town hall over recent crimes

Police want to address and discuss recent crimes in the city.

After recent crimes in the city, Frisco Police Department will be holding a town hall meeting at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 30, at City Council chambers, 6101 Frisco Square Boulevard. Doors open at 6 p.m. and seating is limited.

The most recent crimes include two thefts that appear to be related to two prior incidents in the Regents Park area. These involve a man driving a dark-colored SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Traverse, with a woman passenger who is either pregnant or heavy set. In all four of the cases, the perpetrators manage to get close enough to the victims to snatch jewelry from them.

There have also been recent crimes at Walmart, Target and H-E-B. Frisco police made an arrest in the Walmart case.
