Fort Worth resident won $1M in the Powerball drawing. Here’s where they bought the ticket

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, didn’t travel far for the winning lottery ticket.

Someone in Fort Worth has fuller pockets after claiming a $1 million Powerball prize last month.

The lucky winner, who chose to remain anonymous, bought the ticket at a 7-Eleven on Altamesa Boulevard in Fort Worth, a Monday release from the Texas Lottery said.

Their second-tier winning Quick Pick ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers drawn (1-6-40-51-67), but not the red Powerball number (2) during the Nov. 21 drawing.
