Richardson ISD seeking community input on district goals

The input will be used as part of the school district’s planning process.

Richardson ISD is seeking input from up to 60 community members who will learn about and offer input for the district’s goals and planning process.

The community members’ ideas will be forwarded to the district’s design committee, which is developing goals to support the district’s overall vision as well as the graduate profile adopted in 2022.

Two community input sessions are available for sign-up on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at the Arzell Ball Center, 410 S. Greenville Ave.

Additionally, community members can learn more about the district’s strategic planning process during two virtual progress on Wednesday, Jan. 25, so the community can learn more about the .

The Jan. 25 meetings are:

  • 9-10 a.m. via Zoom
  • 6-7 p.m. via Zoom

RISD community members will also be able to provide input on possible metrics related to each strategic goal. There will be one team for each strategic goal. Specific dates, times, and locations will be announced by Jan. 13.

In April, there will be additional opportunities for public input, according to the district.
