Dallas Zoo welcomes 4 new Arapawa goats

The group will be residents of the Goat Yard at the Lacerte Family Children’s Zoo.

The Dallas Zoo announced Tuesday that it has welcomed four new Arapawa goats. The group will now call the Goat Yard — a part of the Lacerte Family Children’s Zoo — home.

Hansel, 6, is the oldest goat. He will roam the yard with 3-year-old Solana and 2-year-olds Vision and Legolas.

The zoo has welcomed several new animals this year, including a whooping crane chick, a giraffe, lemurs, emperor tamarin monkeys and an elephant.
