Amber Alert ends for missing 16-year-old Hurst girl

The girl has returned home unharmed, Hurst police said.

A 16-year-old girl who had been reported missing this week returned home unharmed, WFAA (Channel 8) reports.

The Hurst Police Department ended its search and discontinued an Amber Alert for the teen.

An Amber Alert was issued for the teen on Tuesday after she was last seen at the intersection of Bluebonnet and Arwine Drives at 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 29, according to authorities.

Authorities believe she may be walking and have expressed concern for her safety, stating that she may be in grave or immediate danger. The department is seeking the public’s help in locating Rowbotham.

As of Wednesday, police had not given any additional updates about the case.
