3 teens face felony charges over picture of boy with special needs using restroom at Irving school

Police said the incident took place Friday at Lady Bird Johnson Middle School.

Three teenagers are facing criminal charges over an inappropriate picture of an 11-year-old boy with special needs, Irving police say.

A 13-year-old boy took a picture of the 11-year-old Friday while he was using a restroom at Lady Bird Johnson Middle School, then shared the photo with two other 13-year-olds, police said.

Police were notified Monday about the incident at the school in the 3600 block of West Pioneer Drive.

The three teenagers will be charged with invasive visual recording, a state jail felony. Their names were not released because they are juveniles.
