A 21-year-old man has been arrested in a shooting and stabbing that wounded two teens at a McKinney apartment complex Wednesday.
Lyrea Venzant faces charges in the 5 p.m. attack at the Millennium Apartments in the 6500 block of McKinney Ranch Parkway, police said.
He was taken into custody by McKinney police around 10 p.m. Wednesday after a SWAT team responded to a shooting. A motive for the crime was unclear.
The two teenage victims were taken to Medical Center McKinney and were described as stable and alert by WFAA-TV (Channel 8).
Venzant also was being treated for injuries he suffered in the attack. Charges in the case are pending, authorities say.
